Balloon of Hope

The Balloon of Hope release ceremony kicked off the 1st Annual Rock & Roll Half Marathon to honour the memory of Joey Stott who took his life in June 2007. Each green balloon is hope for a future where mental health issues no longer mean living without hope.

Looks like I may have found one of your first balloons. My two brothers and I were fishing on Lake Kabetogama, MN when we spotted your balloon on the water Sept 29th.
